Currently we can only accept orders for delivery to addresses within the United Kingdom. Orders are delivered on or before the second working day following receipt of your order. There is no delivery charge for orders over £50.00 to addresses in England, Wales and Central & Southern Scotland! Whoop, whoop!
However, we do still have to make a £5.00 delivery charge for orders under £50.00 to addresses in England, Wales and Central & Southern Scotland and, sadly, we have to levy a delivery surcharge of £15.00 for all deliveries, large or small, to addresses in Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands, the Isle of Man and the Scilly Isles. These surcharges reflect the additional costs that deliveries to these locations attract (well, almost!)
England, Wales and Southern & Central Scotland
Orders with a value in excess of £50 are delivered free of charge
Orders with a value less than £50 attract a delivery charge of £5.00
Special offers that we advertise from time to time as free of delivery charge such as our Mixed Case offers and Bin Ends, sadly only apply to delivery addresses in England, Wales and Southern and Central Scotland. Orders for such special offers for delivery to addresses in Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man and Scilly Isles attract the normal delivery charges outlined above.
If there is any chance that there might not be anyone at the delivery address to accept the order, it is always helpful to provide instructions for the wine to be left securely with a neighbour or colleague or in an outbuilding such as a garage. Please use the "Delivery Instructions" field of the Checkout process to provide these instructions which is usually better than having to re-arrange delivery.
Wine is a heavy and fragile item. Although we use specialist couriers who are used to the difficulties of shipping wine breakages do occur very occasionally. So please always open and examine your wine on arrival. If this is not possible it is always safest to note the carrier’s delivery confirmation sheet as "unexamined".
Damage and Returns
Missing bottles and bottles damaged in transit should be reported to us within three days of receipt and we will arrange for the replacement of such shortages or breakages at our expense.
In the event that an order is placed with incorrect items or delivery details, or you would simply on reflection prefer alternative items we will arrange for collection and re-delivery or replacement as you prefer as a new order.
